Far Cry 3 In Development
In an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine, Kevin Shortt of Ubisoft confirmed that Far Cry 3 is in development. No other details have leaked as of yet, but it's good to see that at least one major publisher is continuing to make games that are slightly riskier than betting on the Cleveland Browns to not make the playoffs.
Asked if he was working on Far Cry 3, Shortt said, "No I'm not...but I know the team are and what I've seen looks pretty exciting."
Last year, fellow Ubi writer Patrick Redding hinted at the game's existence at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. At that time, he expressed interest in exploring further themes within Far Cry 2's African setting as well as looking at taking the game to the Antarctic.
