Sony: God of War III Online Co-op Rumors "Unfounded"
In case you missed it, there were stirrings and murmurings of God of War III having online co-op this past weekend. Hopefully the thought of dual titan-slayers didn’t get you too excited, because Sony has come out and pegged the news as pure rumor.
"This news is unfounded," a Sony representative told IGN regarding the original post found on TheGamerAccess. "God of War III will not have an online co-op mode."
Not that I could easily tell you what co-op in God of War would be like, but nevertheless it’s disappointing to hear this won’t be happening. Anybody licking their wounds after this little clarification?
