Stephen Totilo (formerly at MTV, now of Kotaku) dug up a picture of a slide presented by Activision Blizzard chief financial officer Thomas Tippl, which gives a 2010 release for StarCraft II, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and the promised Battle.net upgrade.Under the "next few years" banner, Tippl's slide lists Diablo III, the nebulous unannounced MMO that Blizzard has been teasing for years, and StarCraft expansions.This information should come as a shock to no one, but it's nice to have confirmation. I am very happy Starcraft II is coming out before Daiblo III
I'm annoyed that Blizzard is making us buy three games for the complete Starcraft 2 experience, but if each game is as long as the original was, and there's as much diversity as they say, I can't help but open my wallet.

They can only do so much with the manpower they have, so prioritizing doesn't surprise me. If you want a game to be awesome, you're gonna have to wait for it...

I am way more excited about Diablo than Starcraft.. and I loved Starcraft. It's so painful to think it may be so far away! I agree with DarkKnigh7 as well - it's unfortunate they're trying to nickle and dime by creating each campaign be a separate release, but again, if they're each really good...

This news to me is old news, anyone paying attention to Blizzard has known this for a few monthes now. I guess all this does is provide closure to the issue. As far as the games are concerned, I want Diablo 3 sooner than later. Not much of a StarCraft type of guy. Diablo is the better series and should come out first. That's my opnion and I'm sticking to it.
Not a fan of RTS. Boil it down, and it's a build order... fun...? So yea, just waiting on D3.
I may veto the Starcraft for a bit there is no way my wife is going to let me get all 3 making this hard for me to pick. However I am also hoping for a release of all three together later.
I hope the new MMO is a Starcraft 1, If it comes out.

To play devils advocate - By Blizzard being so greedy w/ Starcraft (as they are already w/ World... (sorry but that many subscribers and a serious update only every few months is bs @ 15 still, let alone the retarded costs of server xfer, cosmetics.) they are asking people to pirate the game - regardless of what many advocates against piracy, the biggest reason piracy happens is because consumers are sick of being gouged till there internal organs bleed and fail.
Ok enough is enough will the MMO be Starcraft or Diablo !!!!!!!!!!!

Starcraft is not coming out in 2010. I'm sorry but it's Blizzard. Diablo 3 is probably coming out late 2011 at the earliest. Remember it's Blizzard.
