If you watched the broadcast premiere of V last night, you may want to remove the "v" from November. I want to at least. That pilot effectively killed any interest I had with the show in an hour's time. On the other hand, a Flickr group geared toward LEGO builders is asking its users to add another "v" to November, officially making it Novvember. The added letter represents their month-long movement for LEGO builders to create pieces based on the Vic Vipers from Gradius. The group has taken to the Novvember task quickly, assembling dozens of amazingly detailed ships. I've included a few examples here, but be sure to check out the gallery to see the entire collection.
i didnt catch that episode. was it really that bad?
Bertz and I both hated, but Miller seemed to like it.
Does that bottom ship remind anyone else of Yoda in a way?
ya i does sorta look like yoda......in a way
Andrew Reiner your an idiot, "V" was amazing.
I watched V last night, and I agree that it sucked hard. I predict it gets axed pretty soon. Even the promo for next week looked absolutely boring, and usually promos can make even the worst shows look okay.
Weird, i read it was decent. Reiner, were you a fan of the original?
awesome. im not the biggest lego luvr in the world but i have to give credit to the talent ive seen in years of ppl who make masterpieces like these, and these r small scaled.
lol miller seemed to like it
The bottom ship looks like something yoda would pilot
I saw the original V back in 1983 and loved it.Got V, the final battle and the original V The series whiched sucked. I saw last night season premier and wasn't to crazy about it,Liked the mothership but the V outfits where plain. The old ones were better. I will watch next week to see were this is heading, Hopefully it get's better.
Oh yeah, liked the all three lego ships.
I loved the original.
I wanted to watch, but didnt have the time. how was it
i liked it D:
I stopped watching after about fifteen minutes.
Wow. That ship on the top is one of the most amazing things i've ever seen in LEGO form.
On another note: Happy Noember, everybody!
"Does that bottom ship remind anyone else of Yoda in a way?"
HAHA! Yeah, I guess it kinda does. Honestly, at first glance, I thought it was a Pokemon character, before I read the title of the post."
Ok, so to be clear... Reiner removed the V in November but LEGO added an extra V, so it's just plain old November again. They've officially cancelled each other out. Unless a third party gets involved and makes another change, we are back to square one.
I've been subscribing to GI for years. Never thought any of the editors would ever see something I did. This is just sweet.
