Whether you're an old fighter itching to get back in the ring or just new blood, EA's Fight Night Round 4 has something for everyone. Not only is the game now selling for $39.99, but the company has announced that it is releasing a new DLC pack that will feature both new fighters and features. The new content will hit in early December for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for 800 MS points or $9.99, respectively. The DLC brings in new playable boxers including Bernard Hopkins, Sonny Liston, and Evander Holyfiled, and adds two gameplay modes: Old School Rules and Ring Rivalries. EA isn't talking a lot about the first gameplay mode other than to say it "brings a new take to the traditional boxing experience" (whatever that means), and the former lets you re-create great matchups in boxing history. Can't you already do this? Well, we'll have to wait and see what exactly the wrinkle is on this mode. New presentation and entrance graphics perhaps? What kind of classic fighters would you like to see?For more on Fight Night Round 4, check out our review here.
I don't have the game but I'm glad to hear of th price drop. I might go get it now. I would like to see Sugar Ray Leonard if he is not in the game already.
it would be cool to have floyd maywether.AND WHERE IS OSCAR DE LA HOYA LOL.
I want rocky marciano!! lol it would be so cool to play as the old school boxers from the 30's 40's and 50's.
So for $10, I get 3 boxers that the community has probably already created for download anyway, plus 2 game modes that hardly anyone can play? Really?
I would rather see microtransactions where I can buy one of several new boxers for $1 or $2. Ring rivalries sounds like Madden Classic Moments...do people actually play those things?
Sugar Ray and Floyd Mayweather.
