The NHL season has just started, and the folks over at NHL 10 developer EA Canada are already making tweaks to improve. According to Sean "Rammer" Ramjagsingh's producer blog over at Inside EA Sports, the team is working on a fixes update for an early November release date.Among the fixes include:- Increased speed for manual passing- Fixing a five-hole slap shot goal exploit- Trade logic tuning- Reduction of players sucking into boardplay from far away- Added ability to apply boost slots to authentic helmets- Reduction of interference penalties in front of the net- Improved logic for how fighting improves teamplay scores in Be a Pro mode- Many more fixes and improvements across the game
Nice. This is a fantastic game. I don't play it enough.
I'm excited about the trade logic fix. A lot of superstars have changed teams in my franchise.
It's a small thing, but I'm looking forward to having boosts for the authentic helmets. I hate having to wear some goofy helmet just to get a boost. For some reason it's not as amusing in NHL as it is in Tiger Woods. Why not do it for all the equipment?
Thats a good point about the equipment. Its stupid to wear flame skates.
Nice, glad to see EA churning out a quick update. NHL10 rules.
In fact I played last night and my guy looks like special Ed with his yellow helmet :(
I hope they fix the freezes and crashes also. This game is unplayable for alot of people.
