Fable II Hits Stores October 21

ep. It is official – Fable II will be hitting retail shelves on October 21. Microsoft officially announced the release date early this morning, along with an inside peek as to what we can expect in the Fable II Collectors
Edition. If you are a true Fable fan and decide to splurge on the upgraded edition – expect a Bonus DVD including a making-of feature narrated by Peter Molyneux. You can also look forward to some extra in-game content. If you have an Xbox Live account you will receive “The Hall of the Dead” dungeon, “The Wreckager” cutlass weapon and other bonuses.

That’s not all. Collectors Edition owners will also be rewarded with a collectible Hobbe figure, a 48-hour Xbox Live trial card and a run of five printed Fate Cards. All this for an extra 20 clams. The regular edition will run for $59.99, and the collector’s will cost you $79.99. It is going to be an expensive fall. Better start saving now.
